Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) is a system of central government-run residential schools in India, established under the National Policy on Education-1986 to provide quality education to talented rural children, regardless of socio-economic status, helping them compete with urban counterparts. These schools focus on holistic development with strong cultural, value-based, environmental, and physical education, offering instruction in common languages like Hindi and English, and are managed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the Ministry of Education. The Sambhal(formerly Budaun) Alumni Welfare Association of Navodaya(SAWAN) is the registered association formed by Alumni of JNV Sambhal/Budaun.
